The first step in the neck lift procedure is a personal consultation. At your consultation, Dr. Smart conducts an evaluation, reviews your medical history, and discusses your aesthetic goals. Depending on your unique needs, he may recommend a neck lift by itself, or in conjunction with other treatments, such as liposuction or a facelift.
As with all of his treatments, your neck lift experience will be highly personalized. Dr. Smart will take the time to review options, answer questions, and address concerns. Your face will be examined and measured, and his team can shoot photographs so you can have before and after pictures once your neck lift is complete.
The Neck Lift Procedure
Most patients can expect neck lift surgery to last about three hours at our Frisco office.
The Recovery Period
Recovering from a neck lift usually takes about two weeks. Dr. Smart will evaluate your recovery during a follow-up appointment. Patients generally return to work within two weeks of surgery, and sports or other physical activities can usually resume a week or two later.
In the days following their procedure, it is not uncommon for patients to feel a burning or numb sensation, as well as minor swelling and bruising. Once these side effects have subsided, patients can enjoy a more toned facial profile with long-lasting results.

I would recommend Dr Smart a thousand times over! He fixed a bad breast augmentation I had done a few years ago. Flawlessly! I am so happy with the results, I couldn’t believe my eyes!
