Meet Dr. Smart and the Practice He Built
Dr. Ken Smart opened Frisco Plastic Surgery & MedSpa in 2004 and moved into his current standalone building in 2009. The facility was designed so that every part of a patient's experience, from consultation to surgery to follow-up, happens in one place. Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Ken Smart is a board-certified plastic surgeon with deep roots in North Texas. He was born and raised in Dallas, trained at Texas A&M, and has been practicing in Frisco since 2004. He chose plastic surgery for the artistry: the craft of taking something apart and putting it back together in a form better than where it started. More than two decades in, what still drives him is the relationship side of the work. In other words, the trust patients place in him, and the depth of that connection compared to other surgical specialties.

He is one of the only plastic surgeons in the region to operate his own onsite surgical facility, which means patients receive one-on-one attention without ever setting foot in a hospital. For longer procedures or out-of-town visitors, overnight stays with around-the-clock nursing care are also available.
