Silicone Implants

Types of Incisions

Our plastic surgeon places breast implants through three different incision locations:
Periareolar
This incision is made around the nipple. It is a very popular location among patients because the scar is almost unnoticeable once it heals.
Inframammary
Located at the bottom of the breasts, this incision is camouflaged very well and can be easily hidden with a swimsuit.
Transaxillary
If you don't want any incisions or scars on your breasts, Dr. Smart can make transaxillary incisions in your armpit.

I have a condition called tubular breast. Around 12 years ago I wanted to have this condition corrected. I didn’t do my research and I just went to someone a friend suggested. Needless to say things did not go well. I had the implants removed and told myself “I’m just stuck like this”. Last year, I decided I wanted to find someone that could fix it. I researched many doctors in that year and scheduling a constant with 2 doctors. Dr. Ken was my first consultation. I explained to him what I went through and what I was wanting. He assured me that I was not a lost cause, and that my condition could be corrected. In the same breath, he reminded me that how I would look afterward and my ideal version of perfection may not be the same. My husband and I absolutely LOVE Dr. Smart & his staff. All the girls are SO sweet and incredibly helpful & friendly. Dr. Smart and his team are absolutely amazing. Any questions I had, either himself or Jae would call me back so fast. I definitely had a lot of questions and wanted clarification on some stuff just to ease my own worries. They explained everything so well. I saw him today at my 4-week post op appt and I’m looking amazing! Definitely will recommend him to everyone. Communication has been top notch but the level of care he provides after surgery is something to note. I've heard horror stories of other plastic surgeons' aftercare being terrible because they've already gotten their money and aren't concerned anymore; Dr. Smart and his team are the opposite!!!
